I KNOW THAT INTEREST RATES ARE GOING UP A DOWN BUT AS OF TODAY IS 6.75% A GOOD INTEREST RATE IN CALIFORNIA FOR A FHA LOAN 30YR FIXED? I HAVE A 700 CREDIT SCORE

    About as good as it is going to get.

    Right now I wouldn’t worry so much about a couple of percentile points up or down on the rate… I would take any mortgage offered to me… because just getting the mortgage is hard enough
    And FHA isn’t going to “cheat” you… they are the only ones left to do it without a 20% downpayment. I think theirs is still around 3.5% but they are talking about raising the min. downpayment to 4.5% on FHA soon. Take it… and be happy that you got it.

    And please don’t deal with the other 2 “scammers” that answered your question. I am so going to wipe them out of here….
