Like a 10-year fixed versus a 5-year variable? Basically, what would be a prediction for interest rates over the next 5-10 years?
We may only live there for about 5 years or so and then upgrade, will that affect the decision?

I am trying to lock my interest rate in but right now I am being told that the rate is 6.5% which is a bit high for me. Is there anywhere that I can look for myself? I can oly find interest rates for FHA not USDA Guaranteed Loans. I ...
